Online e challan – How to Pay Traffic Fine Online And Check Status On The echallan.parivahan.gov.in Website?

You can do e challan check on the official website echallan.parivahan.gov.in by following the below steps:

Step 1: To check your e challan details, first visit the official website of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

Step 2: Now enter any of the below details:
1. Online challan number
2.  Driving license number
3.  Vehicle number along with chassis or engine number

After entering the above details and the captcha, click on the button Get Details.  If you have any existing traffic fine, you can find your e challan details on the screen. If no fine is issued against your vehicle number, you will see Challan Not Found displayed on the screen.

To make e challan payment online, follow the below steps:

Step 1: To do e challan pay or make e challan online payment, you need to first visit the official challan payment website by of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Step 2: Now, enter your online Challan Number and CAPTCHA. Click on the Get Details button. Your challan details or traffic fine amount will be shown on the screen. Select Pay Now and choose a payment method to complete the transaction.

Note: You can enter your DL or vehicle number to make e challan payment online. If you choose to key in your vehicle number, you will be asked to enter your chassis or engine number. Keep the information handy.

Here is how to check your online e challan status on echallan.parivahan.gov.in website:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to check e challan status online.

Step 2: You will be asked to enter any of the below details:
1.  Challan Number
2.  Vehicle Number along with chassis or engine number
3.  DL Number
4.  Captcha

Step 3: Once you enter all the above details, click on the button Get Details. A new page will open with the details  of all your traffic fines including the pending and already paid ones. 

To check your pending e challan transactions, you need to visit the official website  by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (parivahan.gov.in).
On the top menu, click on Check Online Transactions, a drop-down menu will open. Now choose Pending Transactions form the menu. 

Enter challan number or Vehicle number and then click on Get Details. Your pending e challans or traffic fines will be displayed on the screen.

The e challan helpline number is 0120-2459171. You can call the number between 6 am and 10 pm. You can also email helpdesk-echallan@gov.in if you face any technical problems.

To raise online e challan related complaints online, visit the e challan complaints page on the site. Enter all the required details, upload any images/files you may have and enter submit.
You can also track the status of your ticket here.  The ticket number will send to your mobile number once you submit your complaint on the portal.

To pay your traffic on Paytm, follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Once you open your Paytm app, click on the Recharge & Pay Bill tab on the screen
Step 2: Now choose Challan. Alternatively, click on the Show More option to see the challan option. 

Step 3: Select the relevant traffic authority and type in your Challan, RC or Driving License number and then click the Proceed button.
Step 4: Your pending challans details will be displayed on the screen. If you have multiple challans select one and make payment. Now complete the payment with UPI, Debit or Credit Card etc.
Note: You can also opt for Fast Forward payment if you prefer instant payment of your online e challan.
