Here are the steps you need to follow to apply for a ration card in UP

4. Yellow Ration Card: APL Scheme

The green UP ration card is for elderly people with no old age pension. You cannot apply for this UP ration card online. You must visit the nearest Jan Seva Kendra to submit your application.

The following are excluded from having a NIC UP ration card:
· All income tax payers
· Families with annual income over Rs 3 lakh
·  Families where any member owns a 4-wheel vehicle / air conditioner/ generator
with over 5KWA capacity
·  Family owning a self-acquired residential plot
·  Families owning a self-constructed home with over 100 sqm carpet area
·  Families owning a commercial property of over 80 sqm carpet area
·  Families where any member possesses more than 1 weapon license

 In rural areas, the following are excluded from UP ration card:
· All income tax payers
· Families with annual income over Rs 2 lakh
· Families where any member owns a 4-wheel vehicle / tractor/ harvester / air

When applying for UP ration card digitization, you must pay a fee of Rs 20.

Follow the below steps to modify UP ration card 2019.
Step 1: Visit the nearest Jan seva Kendra with all the required documents
Step 2: Check the modified details as entered into the system by the operator
Step 3: The application will be submitted and checked
