mAadhaar App Services, Use And How To Register

While the Aadhaar card is not yet mandatory, it is essential to avail of many government services. The mAadhaar app is a mobile application launched by the UIDAI to allow Aadhaar cardholders to maintain their profiles on the app and access it whenever needed. A total of three profiles can be saved on the mAadhaar application. mAadhaar is valid in places like airports that accept Aadhaar cards as identity proof

The mAadhaar card is a personalized section in the mAadhaar app where you can store and manage all your Aadhaar related details.

The services available on this app include:

6. Check Aadhaar Bank Acc Link Status
7. Update details on your Aadhaar card
8. eKYC

You can get a link for mAadhaar apk download from the UIDAI website or by searching for mAadhaar apk on the Google Playstore.

The mAadhaar app download for android phones is available on Google play store. You can search for the app or click here to go to the mAadhaar download page directly.
Step 1: Click the Install button followed by the open button
Step 2: Give the app the necessary permissions
Step 3: Choose your language
Step 4: Enter your mobile number
Step 5: Enter the OTP code received via SMS

The mAadhaar app download is also available for iOS devices. Click here to go to the mAadhaar download page. Once you have downloaded the app, here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Open the app
Step 2: Give the required permissions and choose your language
Step 3: Enter your phone number
Step 4: Enter the 6-digit OTP received via SMS

No you can’t. There is currently no mAadhaar app for PC available.

Step 1: Open the app. On the topmost portion of the app you will see ‘Register My Aadhaar’ and click on it.
Step 2: Create a 4 digit password
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number and the 4-digit security captcha.
Step 4: Enter the OTP received via SMS and click on the Verify button
You will then be able to see all your Aadhaar card details.

The mAadhaar app makes it easy to check whether your Aadhaar card has been linked to a bank account and to see which account it has been linked to. Here is what you need to do.
Step 1: Open the app and click on ‘Check Request Status’
Step 2: Click on Aadhaar Bank Acc Link Status
Step 3: The Aadhaar card number will be auto-entered. Enter the 4-digit captcha code and request OTP
Step 4: Enter the OTP and click on the Verify button
You will then be able to see the bank linking status with your Aadhaar card, the date of linking and the bank name.

Downloading a copy of your Aadhaar card is easy with the m aadhar card download app. Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Open the mAadhaar app
Step 2: Click on download Aadhaar
Step 3: Select regular Aadhaar
Step 4: Click on ‘I have Aadhaar number’. Else choose enrolment ID number or Virtual ID number
Step 5: Enter the Aadhaar number and captcha code. Request OTP
Step 6: Enter OTP
Step 7: Click on verify

You cannot use the m Aadhaar card download for PC directly. However, you can download your Aadhaar card on the phone and then send it via email to your PC or send it via Bluetooth.

You can use the mAadhaar app to check your Aadhaar status and verify that it is active.
Step 1: Open the mAadhaar app
Step 2: Click on Verify Aadhaar
Step 3: Enter the Aadhaar number and the captcha code. Click on ye submit button.
You will then see the status of the Aadhaar card and personal details of the cardholder such as age group, gender, state and a masked mobile number.
