Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra – How To Apply And For A Haryana PPP Family Id?

In simple words, Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra or Haryana PPP (called PPP in short) is a unique identification document, just like we have the Aadhar card for every Indian.
 
There are only two differences between a Haryana PPP Family Id and an Aadhar card:
 
1. Instead of one PPP for every person, every family is treated as one unit and assigned one PPP.

2. The Haryana PPP is an ID card given to families residing in Haryana only and is not available in other states of India.
 
The Haryana government launched the Parivar Pehchan Patra to build an accurate and comprehensive database with the details of every family in the state.
 
The PPP, also known as a Family ID, maintains the verified data of roughly 54 lakh families residing in Haryana. The basic information of each family member is noted with their permission and stored electronically in the state records.
 
Once a family is registered in the PPP database, the family receives a unique eight-digit ID.
 

Every family in Haryana is eligible for a Parivar Pehchan Patra and should apply for this unique ID to receive the benefits of many government schemes and services.

In 2022, the Haryana government extended the scope of schemes and services under the Haryana Family Identity Card. Currently, 443 welfare programs of 43 departments are active within the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra, and there is a possibility of 120 more services/schemes getting included in the Haryana PPP.

Some instances where the Parivar Pehchan Patra will be necessary include:
1. For college admissions
2. For job applications
3. For opening a bank account
4. For the issuance of any certificate
5. For any government work
6. For salary slips in government offices in Haryana

The HPPP family id will become an essential document for identification for many official services in Haryana, so registering for the Family ID card will be very helpful.
 

Families receive a temporary or permanent family ID, depending on their residential status.
The criteria for enrollment of families in the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme are as follows:
Permanent Family: If a family is currently residing in Haryana or is permanently living in Haryana, they must enroll in Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra and will receive a permanent 8-digit family ID.
Temporary Family: Any family living outside Haryana but wishing to apply for any service/scheme of the state must also enroll in PPP. They will receive a 9-digit temporary family ID starting with the letter ‘T.’

If you live in Haryana and want to register your family for the Family identity card, you can apply through one of the below three offline channels:
CSC VLE – You can go to any Common Service Center managed by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) and apply for the PPP.
Saral Kendras – You can apply for the PPP by visiting the Antyodaya Saral Kendras of the State government.
PPP Operator – You can register for the PPP by taking help from a PPP operator. You can call or email a registered operator of the scheme available in your area by searching the details on the government website.

The Haryana government has also launched an official website (meraparivar.haryana.gov.in) to make it easier for people to apply for a PPP online. But currently, the PPP portal is not open for applying for a new Family ID. A person can only update their existing PPP through this website.

Whichever channel you go through, the first step is to fill out an application form giving all the information about your family and attach the requested documents.

You have to submit the filled form and documents to the same CSC, Saral Kendra, or the PPP operator who gave you the application form. After the officials review the form and verify all information, you will get a PPP Family ID card.

There is no application fee or money to be paid when applying for a Haryana PPP family id.

When submitting the application form to enroll for a Family ID card, you should also provide the following information about all family members:

1. Mobile number
2. Aadhar Card
3. Voter ID Card (for members above 18 years) 
4. Bank Passbook/Statement (Account holder name must match the name in the PPP
application)
5. PAN Card (If available)
6. BPL Card (If applicable)
7. Proof of Birth (any one of these):
Birth Certificate
Medical Certificate
Matriculation Certificate
School Leaving Certificate

It is now possible to check the status of your Haryana PPP Family ID application online by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the official website of Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra
Step 2: Click on the Citizen Corner menu and select the Update Family Details option.

Step 3: It will show you the below screen asking if you know your Parivar Pehchan Patra.

If you select YES
You get this screen where you enter your PPP Haryana Family ID and click Search.

If you select NO
It takes you to this screen where you input your Aadhaar number and click Check.

Step 4: In both cases, it will then send a 4-digit OTP (One Time Password) to the mobile number of the Family Head stored in the PPP database.
Step 5: You have to enter the OTP in the given space.

Step 6: The system will display the Family ID status on the screen.

With the PPP Haryana Id, eligible individuals can apply for the following schemes already integrated with the PPP program:
· Family pension yojana
· Saksham Yojana
· Pradhan Mantri Awas scheme
· Ration card allotment scheme
· Old age pension scheme
· Ladli scheme
· Marriage shagun
· Disability pension
· Vidhwa pension
· Marriage registration
· Application/renewal of driving license
· Application of birth/death/domicile/income certificate
· Vehicle registration services
· Unemployment allowance
· BPL ration cards

There are two ways to get your name on the beneficiary list of the PPP schemes:

1. If your family is in the Socio-Economic and Income Census (SECC-11), then your family will automatically be included in the PPP program. Based on the scheme eligibility criteria, your family members will receive due consideration for benefits.

2. If your family details are not in SECC-11, you must follow the complete application process to first apply for Parivar Pehchan Patra. After the officials verify your application, your family gets added to the Haryana Family ID scheme.

If you need to change your family details on the PPP, you can do it yourself by going to the PPP portal online, or you can also do it offline.
 
These are the two ways to update your PPP:
Online self-updation of the PPP
 
Step 1: Open the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra official website.
Step 2: Click on the Citizen Corner menu and select the Update Family Details option.
Step 3: It will show you the below screen asking if you know your Parivar Pehchan Patra.

If you select YES
You get this screen where you enter your Family ID and click Search.

If you select NO
It takes you to this screen where you input your Aadhaar number and click Check.

Step 4: In both cases, it will then send a 4-digit OTP (One Time Password) to the mobile number of the Family Head stored in the PPP database.
Step 5: Once you enter the OTP, you will see the information of all the registered family members.
If you want to update the information of a family member, then click on the EDIT MEMBER button in front of the individual’s name.

If you want to add a new family member, click the ADD MEMBER button. Fill all the data in the member details form and click on Submit.

An SMS about the updation of the PPP form goes to the mobile number of the head of the family. The new member should also download a copy of the updated PPP form using the Print option.

The individual should print and sign the form and upload it on the PPP portal using the Upload Document option.

Offline updation of the PPP Haryana
You can visit the nearest CSC, SARAL Kendra, or a PPP Operator who will help to update your family details through your Family ID.

You do not need to go to a CSC or any other place to get your Parivar Pehchan Patra, as you can easily download it from the official website.
These are the steps to follow to download the PPP Haryana Family ID:
Step 1: Go to the official website of Parivar Pehchan Patra.
Step 2: On the homepage of the official website, click on the Citizen Corner and then select Update Family Details.
Step 3: Click on YES if you have your Family ID, or enter your Aadhar number if you do not have your Family ID.
Step 4: You get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the box and click on Submit.
Step 5: Once the OTP verification is complete, the PPP opens, displaying the names, father’s name, and age of the included family members.
You can get your PPP by clicking on the Print option.
