Governors Of India – New appointments On 28 July, 2024
President, Droupadi Murmu on 28 July 2024 appointed 6 new Indian Governers and reshuffled 3 existing ones, appointing 9 new heads of states. The states that got new Governers are:
- Rajasthan: Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde
- Telangana: Jishnu Dev Varma
- Sikkim: Om Prakash Mathur
- Jharkhand: Santosh Kumar Gangwar
- Chhattisgarh: Ramen Deka
- Meghalaya: CH Vijayashankar
- Maharashtra: CP Radhakrishnan
- Punjab and Chandigarh: Gulab Chand Kataria
- Sikkim and Assam: Lakshman Prasad Acharya
