Encumbrance Certificate Of Telangana – How To Apply, Do Online Search And More

The encumbrance certificate of Telangana verifies that the property is free of debts and encumbrances and that the owning of the property is fair and marketable. Encumbrance certificate Telangana is granted by the Department of Registration.

You cannot get the encumbrance certificate online in Telangana state. However, you can follow the steps given below to apply for the EC offline:
 
Step 1: Visit the Telangana State’s MeeSeva Portal.

Step 2: Move your cursor to “Other Links” that is on the left side of the page and click on “Government Forms”.
 
Step 3: A new page will open, titled MeeSeva Services. Under the various categories of MeeSeva forms, scroll down till you find “Registration” and click on it. You will find “Encumbrance Certificate” in the dropdown menu.
 
Step 4: Download the online Encumbrance certificate form. You can download it from here as well. Print and fill the details and attach the required documents.
 
Step 7: Submit your form to the nearest Meeseva center. You will be provided with an acknowledgment slip. An officer will verify your documents before moving your form forward to the Sub Registrar’s Office. Once your form has reached the MeeSeva center, you will receive an SMS regarding its status.

Step 1: Go to the Registration and Stamps Department portal, operated by the Government of Telangana.
 

 
Step 2: Click on “Encumbrance Search” under the “Online Services” section.
 
Step 3: A new window will open. Read the information and click “Submit”.
 

 
Step 4: You can choose to search by using the Document Number or by Property. Depending on what you choose, you will need to enter your details, like Document Number, Year of Registration, SRO, or your District, Mandal, Village, etc. Click “Submit” to find your IGRS Telangana EC.
