Bank Holidays in MP 2023

Here is a post with a complete list of bank holidays in MP 2023 to help you plan your bank visits and business operations. The below-given Madhya Pradesh bank holidays 2023 list is based on the official notification by the government of MP.

Please note that like all other states in India, all Sundays are bank holidays in MP. Likewise, the banks in the state do not function on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. In addition, the MP bank holidays 2023 list includes:

  • April 1 (on account of the annual closing of banks)
  • Major national/regional festivals – Dussehra, Diwali, Holi,  Eid-Ul-Fitr, Christmas, etc.
  • Days of national importance – August 15 (Independence Day), January 26 (Republic Day), October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti), etc.

Diwali (November 12) is also a bank holiday in Madhya Pradesh. However, since it falls on a Sunday, it is not included in the MP holidays 2023 list.
