Assam Ration Card – How To Apply And Check Details?

Any Indian citizen living in Assam can apply for a ration card in Assam. For individuals living under the poverty line, this ration card makes them eligible for grocery provisions at a subsidized rate. For others, it acts as a form of identification.

There are two different types of Assam ration cards:
·  Priority Household (PHH) Ration Card
·  Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Ration Card

Step 2: Enter the captcha code and click on the Verify button
Step 3: Click on Ration Card Details from the drop-down menu under Ration Card

Step 4: Select your district, DFSO, TFSO, FPS, Scheme, Status, Sorting, RC Status and Report Name.

Step 5: Click on the View Report button

Step 7: Select Microsoft Print to PDF as the destination and click on the Print button

 Step 1: Visit the URL: rcms.Assam.gov.in/PublicLogin/frmPublicLogin.aspx
Step 2: Click on the New User Sign Up button
Step 3: Select the ‘I want to apply for new Ration Card’ option

Step 4: Enter your personal details. Choose a Login ID and check that this is available. When all the details have been entered, click on the Get OTP button.
Step 5: Enter the OTP as received on your registered phone number

Step 6: Click on the button to redirect to the Login page

Step 7: Click on the Registered User button

Step 8: Select Option 2 to sign in with a username. Enter your User name and password, verify the Captcha code and click on the Sign In button

Step 9: Select the Application request button

Step 10: Select your district, tehsil and village from the drop-down menu

Step 11: Click on the Add Member button

Step 12: Enter all your personal details in the form. You must first enter the details of the family head.

Step 13: Agree to the terms and conditions and click on the Save button

Step 14: Click on the Add Member button and repeat steps 11 to 13 for each family member.

Step 15: Select your card type

Step 16: Enter your address details and the Gas and Kerosene details


Step 17: In the Attached Enclosures tab, select the Document type, enter the document number and upload the corresponding file.

Step 18: In the New NFSA Criteria, select the category your ration card application will be filed under.

Step 19: Enter your Family Income

Step 20: Choose a FPS location

Step 21: Click on the ‘Submit Ration Card for verification and approval’ button

When a woman marries, her name must be removed from the maternal family ration card and added to her husband’s family ration card. The documents required to add a name to the Assam ration card list are:
· Copy of the original ration card
· Copy of Voter ID Card/ PAN card/ Driving license
·  Proof of date of birth
·  Original ration card surrender certificate
These documents along with an application must be submitted to the FCS & CA authority of the District/Sub-Division(C).

An addition must be made to the family ration card Assam pdf on the birth of a child. An application for the same with the child’s birth certificate must be submitted to the FCS & CA authority of the District/Sub-Division(C).
